When I was a child I was taken to see a movie about an alien with some kids. At the time I didn't know what it was about the film that was so horrifying to me, but for weeks after seeing it I had nightmares. I remember this distinctly, because I saw the film in the summer or spring time and had nightmares about it until around Christmas of that year. It wasn't until as an adult, I sat down to watch the movie again that I understood why the film so horrified me. The only other film that director made I've watched was a period piece action film set in WW2.
