Agreed. Never once debated someone on the topic who could rationally substantiate their position. It always becomes emotional pleas. Ultimately, it really means they argue the government owns you. As their position requires only the government has the authority to take and give life; making you subject to the government's whims. Furthermore, you have no authority to preserve your own life. If you have no authority over your own life, who does? Like that, we just determined who owes you. It also sets up the people vs government relationship. Who owns who? People own government? Government own people? If you have no authority over your own life and death, your life is not your own.
