I doubt anyone in Congress other than AOC believes there is a militant attack just waiting for the opportunity to invade the Capitol. I doubt that the Capitol Police, who sorta missed some warning signs around January 6, is in the position to gather deep intel on secretive groups involved in a criminal conspiracy. I doubt that the FBI has gathered any such intel because they apparently are not allowed to monitor public social media messages for hints of criminal activity
