Did they ever try that? All I saw was crony capitalism, endless wars, and police state tactics.

Good article, over all a lot to agree with.

I really want to see them actually focus on reducing the size and scope of government, not just talking about it. When the government has less to do with our lives than that is less for everyone to be upset about.

Republicans and Conservatives have been talking and not doing as long as I've been alive. I'm too old to hope for it to change.

Idk, I think Trump did show them that if they are going to be all talk, then voters are willing to choose an extreme option. Hopefully a bit of a wakeup call for them to get their shit together.

re article - seems to be written by a SJW that is looking to jump ship from DNC and still holds to DNC lies about what President Trump and RNC populist movement is about. Trump managed to excite people, but you don't know how to turn his personal appeal into a new platform. Most of what he said was offensive, blatantly false, or alienated more people than it won;"

Actually conservatives DO want capitalism and to break free of the new leftist system of products and services being married to leftist politics with the left's aim to economically harming conservatives (products, businesses, customers) who have different political beliefs. Also, conservatives don't have hurt feelings over tweets and what President Trump said was spun and labeled false by the fake news and propagandists for DNC.
