At $45 per ounce, it's not even worthy of an 'investment in silver' purchase.
This isnt muh equity, this is government regulatory idiocy
They have to make the 5 oz version because it was stipulated in the previous coin statute.
Well the G. Washington coin was supposed to come after Obamas parks. We endured 11 years of non patriotic park quarters. Only to have the Mint say they are going to scrap the "Crossing the Delaware" to make the 50+ Women's quarters.
Do you know why they are choosing to do this to this coin? Is it out of malice or it never had the "statutes" you mentioned for the Tuskegee.
"The Gen. George Washington Crossing the Delaware coin will not be issued in any 5-ounce silver version, neither a bullion nor Mint-marked Uncirculated version, according to U.S. Mint spokesman Michael White."
I really was looking forward to a "mint proof" of this coin but all I'm seeing is them including it in a "sliver set" with other quarters.
Read the article. Whether or not any particular quarter design was required or not to be in the run, and whether or not they maliciously decided which one to choose for that run, is not the question or the answer.
The statutes for the previous run of quarters stated that the 5 oz silver must be made. So it's being made.
A question is a question. That is why it's called a question. Your comment "although you haven't linked to the actual legislation or article" is something that sounds plausible. I'm not going to go dig to confirm TBH because I hate niggers being in everything so to me it's just another ugly woke coin.
If you don't want to talk about coins that's fine you say this bantu giant coin must be made & I'm not disagreeing.
By minting more they ensure it will never be of collectible value, merely the value of the metal
I'm interested in the last heraldic eagle 1oz Gold coin they will be releasing in March. I'm seeing the 2020 ones on ebay going for 4-5K could be a quick flip. Only 1 per household is allowed. Low mintage.
