It's interesting that you phrase it that way- when I'm shitting on Trump, I'm usually speculating between three main possibilities: he was either wildly incompetent, one of them all along, or he was somehow threatened into silence.
Incompetence is possible, and it's usually the explanation for the failings of human beings maybe 95% of the time people try something and fail spectacularly. However, given Trump's background as a vicious New York real estate tycoon and actor, he was very politically connected. He was basically a political insider from birth, and he'd probably have taken a lot of life lessons here. This actually makes a pretty solid foundation for a politician, as business is very political at the very top.
Him being one of them all along is also a strong possibility. The man is an actor, and he's been heavily connected to democrats (and was one until very recently), giving them millions of dollars over his lifetime. I think he'd even donated to Bill Clinton on multiple occasions, but fact check me there IDR. Getting into the acting world is suspicious- he's appeared in many movies and commercials and had his reality shows. We know what goes on in Hollywood, Trump would absolutely have known as well. So to me it often seems like Trump is an insider posing as an outsider on the orders of others. This lines up with him almost always "saying what his base wants to hear, but not actually doing it".
Finally, him being threatened into becoming a puppet or being ineffective is also a possibility- it's not like we haven't seen this exact scenario play out in history before.
Regardless of what it was, the conclusion is that Trump's presidency was one of the most devastating things to ever happen to the USA. We haven't been this socially divided since the Civil War. We have more diversity than ever. We were walked into a medical-tyranny state without a fight. We ended up with a completely broken election system that appears to have been completely compromised, leading to a fraudulent election seating Joe fucking child-sniffer Biden, who immediately signed like 50 executive orders in an absurd display of overt power. The military is being purged, anti-White bullshit is being pushed at an all-time high with NO resistance because of mass censorship being put into place..... Trump left us in a fucking nightmare, and you can't deny that.

There is the one possibility that Trump was somehow originally honestly and outsider but they found something to blackmail him with during his term.

I don't like or trust Trump at all and I do think he was acting a part, but Barr's dad left that college two to three months before Epstein was hired. And he left, rather was run out, by a bunch of kikes trying to push a liberal agenda. The college took a vote of all the parents and teachers and they voted against the kikes but as usually happens those with money control everything. It's why his dad quit.

I don't think Trump was one of them, he was just extremely self absorbed and cared more about image than results. The panic on the left when he won seemed genuine to me, they took a lot of risks and accelerated much harder than they should have in order to counter his non-existant purge.
They had a track record up until that point of fielding milquetoast cuckservatives who no one would bother voting for (and who were controlled even if they did manage to bumble into office). That strategy was working and it kept conservatives cowed. I don't see why they would fix what wasn't broken by fielding a controversial populist who (despite his failures), did manage to restore the backbone of the anti-left.
Because Obama was such a piece of shit that conservatives were getting ready to take action outside the system. They had to get someone like Trump to play the vote your way to freedom card.

I wasn't seeing any evidence of that at all. They certainly are now, because Trump reminded them that they don't have to play by lefty rules, but back in 2016 most conservatives had be successfully gaslit into believing that the only way to get ahead in politics was some kind of meek neocon "compassionate conservatism" where they constantly apologise to the left for everything.
I agree with most of your post... I'm still going to say, that trump ia still a redeemable character. You're right, he hasn't figured it out, I said barrett was a bad pick, I assumed kavanaugh was. He surrounded himself with the worst people.
But you have to think about it from the perspective of trump, he didn't know. I'm sure he assumed many of these people were the right people for the job, not understanding what people like us understand. Trump is a normie. He isn't red pilled on the Jews obviously, he has always been a pro black progressive... He doesn't understand the way the world works. Hell, trump could have been me 15 years ago. That's what people don't understand... Trump isn't deep state, he's just a guy, a pretty normal guy with an abnormal amount of money and fame.
Trump's just a guy, but he was doing what he believed to be right, which is more than I can say for almost every other politician in DC. That is what makes him redeemable, he's also about the only guy that can beat big tech with his name alone... Here's hoping that he does what he should in that regard.
