I went to Costco, the price of meat is easily 60$ now for basic meat stuff. Even chicken, nothing is safe. The local butcher is even worst off than costco.
Learn to hunt. Really. It can actually be done pretty cheap if you dont buy into all the gear junkie crap. Kill and butcher your own wild game.
Never hunted before, so ill have to find someone who can teach me.
You can figure it out. Read shit on the internet. Learn about the animals in your area. Read game regulations. But a cheap gun. Hunt for close range chip shots. Go from there. Butcherimg isnt hard either. Separate muscle groups (do as much as you can by pulling not cutting) , trim funky shit off. A lot of videos to give you a general idea. And if you fuck up the butchering a couple times, ruining steaks or something, thats okay. Its now stew meat and burger. Cavemen could do it.

It sucks, the USD was created out of a thin air, and is being used to control what we do. Even the credit card points system is blatant propaganda. Youy get more points doing XYZ, compared to this other thing. And god forbid you want to cash out the points at the lowest rate imaginable.
