Because holy shit yes, while he did not incite anything directly, they had pinned tweets from Trump and in those threads talked about violence on January sixth. Even some of the commenters there called everyone to knock it off, it’s intellectually dishonest to pretend they didn’t call his tweets and statements “orders”, called him their general, their God Emperor, and planned out their violence and threatened it directly - BECAUSE THEY DID. You can actually wish they had finished the job, but be honest. The truth isn’t what Stephanie King is saying but it’s just as accurate as what Trump people are saying now. Trump and his team told them that their country had been stolen from them (which it was). Gave them a time and a place to meet, told them to be there, that it would “be wild” and those dummies proceeded to openly plan what they were going to do. Constant talk of “1776 in 2021” etc and many of those comments spilled onto Trump’s twitter and he did nothing to discourage it.
