I’m not a papist, I’m Orthodox. I believe the Pope is trying to occupy a Throne that only Christ Himself is supposed to be in. That explains that.

I most certainly am not making this up, it is the Traditional understanding of the role of King in traditional society. Just look at the Emperor of Japan. Up until the end of WWII, Shinto almost perfectly preserved this Traditional understanding - the only difference being that the Emperor is supposed to become Christian. The reason that didn’t happen is because the Jesuits got to Japan first, and used Christianity to attempt to subvert the Chrysanthemum Throne. If they’d have been Orthodox, they’d have respected the Ethnic Nation of Japan, as we always have.

More excuses why yet another monarchy didnt work out. The world is full of corrupt elements like Jesuits that are never going away. That is the state of the world. Its full of corruption. The emperor was too young and naive. So they got embroiled in a war they couldnt win.

I'm a different guy but are we going to pretend that the holy Roman Empire was not the most prosperous and longest lasting civilization in human history? Zhou dynasty as well. The reason they were successful is because the emperors were beholden to objective religious principals.
