“The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people.”

We are so far past that point now. I don't think there is turning back. Look at the biggest budget items Social Security, Medicaid, and Medicare. Where is that in the Constitution? General welfare; give me a break.

Social security I can almost at least understand as it was written; where people paid in and, on average, got back what they put in. Now that it is "bring your 70 year old mother from india and get her on SS" it has lost all meaning.

Really what needs to happen is for states and cities to use their laws in every case and without uneven application, and if judges won't let it happen then remove the judges. If there is coercion by someone from the state then they will be jailed, end of story. If there is coercion from non-government entities then laws would be equally applied. For example, if it is okay (or a "don't do it again") for someone to egg a house for having a Trump sign, then the same would apply to a BLM sign.

We also need real data, and real solutions to vote transparency. There should be crime stats, stats per judge, stats for races, school performance states by race, mandatory records for all school incidents; and again equal application of the rules (if mark gets kicked out of school for throwing a punch, then so does tyrone).

No. Stop all wealth confiscation and redistribution.

I said I understand it, not that I support or even approve of it.

It is similar to healthcare; I understand why someone would support the government hiring doctors and nurses, making the saline solution for your political border, etc. But that does not mean that I understand (((socialized medicine))), where we allow monopolies by private interests (AMA, prescription system, pharma patents, etc.) to treat obese people, who will never contribute to society in a positive way; the same (and many times better) way they would someone who takes care of their self and contributes to society.

Ideally medical would be transparent and not encumbered by the state at all. If some shitty person wants care they would need to either find charity, or barter with the doctor for payment. There would also be many more doctors, and pharmacists would take a larger role in our medical care, maybe ordering strep tests and other routine crap that currently costs hundreds if you are an uninsured person.

Yeah see that's a world I want to be in. No one knows. No one cares. Mask is all they see. We are doomed sorry to say.

Social Security IS NOT redistribution.

You pay into SS and take out from your own money. That's what SS is.

We don't have that. We have jew-forced wealth redistribution, they aren't the same.

[–] 1 pt

That isn't totally true. It is possible to keep getting payments after what you paid in is exhausted. If you die before all your balance is paid out, that balance is not given to your survivors.

If it was all about your own money, why can't you opt out? Why can't I request a lump sum payment now to invest in the market and retire early?

Nope it is all a big ponzi scam.

step one: STOP TALKING.

Missouri is close to nullifying federal gun control within its borders. On Tuesday, the Missouri House overwhelmingly passed the “Second Amendment Preservation Act,” which prohibits public officers, state employees, and political subdivisions from enforcing federal acts, laws, executive orders, court orders, and other edicts that transgress the right to bear arms.

Unless it allows everyone but the "criminally insane" to buy ANY gun it's pure virtue signaling.

I think criminally insane is the old term for batshit crazy

If I were a MS citizen I should be able to buy a fully auto gun of whichever variety I'd like. If I could afford it I should be able to buy a missile launcher. But I doubt that's going to be, I assume this is pure virtue signaling.

I'm gonna sticky this one for a while. I'd like to see it get some traction.

EDIT: Forgot to add my comment.

“Unite the country” may be the three scariest words coming out of D.C. right now. Conform or be crushed is what they mean.

This couldn't be more true, and it's not just DC where this attitude is coming from. All too many people on the left feel the same way.

The amount of collusion between the government, media, and corporate America is stunning. All pushing a narrative which you either conform to or face being canceled.

And in today's society it isn't easy to resist the cancel mob.

Kind of related. I'm glad to see Morgan Wallen is enjoying record sales as the powers-that-be attempt to cancel him. Small things like this are people giving a middle finger to cancel culture.
