Could that be because any time any sort of resistance gets sizable enough to be a threat the FBI surrounds it and idk, bombs a city like Philly, or burns a compound like Waco, or establishes a siege like the Bundy ranchers? Unfortunately it seems we need to wait until it gets bad enough that the foot soldiers in the alphabet agencies feel pressure and become reluctant to take action against uprisings. Or somehow get a clandestine organization of, idk, several million people together before they notice (seems unlikely). Actually a few thousands would probably do it honestly; having the need for the military to get involved would certainly be a turning point.
