At this point though, why have Congress do any laws when dictator in charge can simply eo everything?
We keep seeing bills like HR 127 posted all over the web for one particular reason: It's actually a demoralization campaign.
Heres how it works
lose to obvious fraud
put up a bunch of would-be bills that are aweful
blast the news out of these bills but fail to mention they are only proposals at this point. The effect is that people demand "where is the GOP to stop this?" and become outraged or concerned
Dem pollsters who work in rebuplican offices then tell the GOP "you're losing in the polls. DOOM!" (more common than you think - look at the dem that got caught committing ballot fraud for the left while working as a 'republican' in an a GOP office in texas)
republicans, thinking they're fucked anyway, roll over for their masters in the DNC
this feeds further into the disenfranchisement of their base, and subsequent splintering.
Bill never passes, or maybe it does because "the GOP have no power any more, its all DNC now. We're powerless I tell ya!"
Don't put out that the bill passed or failed because thats a definite decision, which would motivate people to demand answers. Instead rinse and repeat while the old bill is forgotten about and replaced with yet another in a never ending series of these proposals.
This process conditions people, like rats in a lab experiment, to do nothing in the face of shock after shock, until the government and parties are given carte blanche to pass any bills or laws they want without a reaction from the public.
Pure demoralization campaign. And now you know.
The way you break it is by calling news stations and demanding coverage on these topics. Threats of having them removed from cable (lol, even for those of us that don't use cable) work good. Threats of lawsuits from "emotional damage caused by unfair or unbalanced news" work even better because we live in a clown world.
Another thing you can do is call your local or state GOP and tell them about the bill. When they say "we're fighting it" or "it was already shot down" respond with "I had no idea. The news gave me the impression you completely rolled over. I actually stopped donating because I didn't know."
That gives them all the ammo they need in court to claim illegal in-kind donations to the political opposition and other bad faith actions.
