We are now seeing the beginning of the total purchase of Texas politics. The last State in the Union to stand for America is about to fall. The enemy has taken up his position.

We MUST call upon our politicians to enact tax laws that punish Bill Gates and Jeff Bezos for trying to own us. We must drive them out. If we cannot do this, they will enslave us.

This is it. The last battle. There are no more men after Texas. We are the final guard.

One thing about texas that really prevents me from seeing it as a true american state is its lack of public land. Public land is an important thing to me, a major aspect of what i view as american freedoms and values. Basically all of texas is privately owned. If a guy wants to hunt and doesnt own enough land, hes shit out of luck unless he can pay a landowner for the privledge. It just strikes me as wrong.

You know, I've always taken the opposite view. Everything should belong to "people", not "the people".

But I would love to see Texas reposes these shithead's lands and get started on that Bernie Paradise - at their expense.

Where i live there are millions of acres of public lands around. I consider it both owned by and for the people. I own it, you own it, every tax paying citizen owns it. Im free to travel around it camping, hunting, shed hunting, berry picking, mushroom picking, whatever the fuck i want and i dont have to ask anybodys permission. That to me is what america is about. I can go on these vast expanses of public land and recreate, or make money trapping, picking shrooms or shed hunting. It truly belongs to all of us. Texas is a mess of fences and private property lines preventing residents from living as free people.

You could say the same thing about any private property. There probably needs to be a balance, though.
