The Framers provided a remedy for a bloated federal government that ignores the voters.

While that statement is indeed true I would like to issue the standard warning when this topic comes up; There are no guarantees what will come out of an Article V convention.

I can guarantee you will have less rights/freedom then before.

You know there's been a whole movement going on for 6 years or longer. 18 states have signed on and more are putting the work in to start the convention i believe we need 32 states or 27 states i cant remember off the top of my head. But this is already happening and if everyone joins the movement that is already established thats be awesome.

Yep. It's close. It only needs three or four more states to get on board.

I get that, I really do. A Constitutional Convention is preferable to an actual shooting war. I'm just saying that what comes out of it could, in fact, be worse.

Agreed. I remember saying that when everyone was cheering on the so called arab spring. Most of the time a system overthrown is replaced with a worse one.
