Totally agree with this. Voting is indeed an important right, but it even more requires responsibility to make informed choices.

That's why I've never been registered to vote. I didn't pay enough attention to be informed. I almost registered for this election, but my only choices were the right hand men of the two worst governors my state has ever had. I don't care if one was endorsed by Trump, if his policies poisoned an entire town, and he tried to cover it up. If my choices are nothing but swamp monsters, fuck it, I'll stay home and clean my guns.

How about, no! Whoever makes the effort, without millions of dollars in persuasion and free rides/assistance, gets to exercise that right. If you can't put forth the tiny bit of initiative, we'd rather you stayed home
