This is a counterop.

  1. plan on a big reichstag style thing done by the state

  2. state spreads fud and disinfo to keep anyone from showing up

  3. the only ones there filming, recording, and framing the narrative is now the state

  4. we get blamed anyway.

The only solution then is to show up and film their crimes.

Good point.

But it doesn't help me in trying to figure out WTF is actually fucking real anymore.

Thats something we have to work on.

Theres a lot of 'playbooks' out there about how the state operates. One example:

It calls for a protest, and then frames those who show up. Other times it calls for a protest, then nothing happens.

How do you tell which is which?

If the state is reacting, then chances are good, the very reason you're seeing a lot of "don't goes" is because the state is scared, and doesn't want people there to film the actions it will blame on the state's enemies.

If the state is being proactive it will likely call for big protests, and will shut down any attempts to discourage going.

This is just one example.

There definitely needs to be a centralized source for rumors, people we vetted in terms of reliability, to use as our own journalists or reviewers just so we can all in aggregate get a broad picture of what the majority of us see or believe so we can head off subversion and disinformation by the state.

In general you can't act effectively if you don't have good information and that forces you to always act on the defensive, which ideologically puts you on the back foot.

So intelligence here is more important than operations or logistics. Which I think is part of the reason the state has moved to cut off communications first.
