I hate Pence with a fucking passion, but these a challenge coins. They are super common in the military and the government. I have plenty from military service. I have them up to the levels of the state senators, pentagon, congressmen, and senators. I collected them because my son thought they were cool so everytime I met someone I got a coin if possible. Pence is probably just a nerd who collects them plus you have the ability to say you coined the vp.
