My honest opinion is that the reason for the meddling was to get Biden into office because he'll be compliant and will end anything and everything that might get the power brokers in trouble. The Ukraine, China, Iran, etc. scandals will all go away. The media on the left will bury it all down the memory hole. The media on the RINO right won't dig any deeper. Anything that comes up will be dismissed as conspiracy theory.

Given that big part of globalist plan was creation of large instability zones between its competing economical clusters, and given that Biden't son was all over Ukrainian oil and gas, it seems pretty obvious that Donbass conflict would get re-ignited. And given fast deterioration of Russia's military capacity, in conjunction with putin's desire to plea for mercy with the new world owners, it is very likely that Donbass would be given back to Ukraine - as would be Crimea.
