Social media has been around for 14 years now. Nothing like diving head first into an already oversaturated market whose looking to limit the users to a very small centralized group....that's going to do what exactly ?

No, honestly..what's any social media site going to do to challenge FB or Twitter ? FB has what 900 million accounts and FB has 300 million ?...this is like saying "I know I'm late on this , but sugary drinks...yes, I'm going to start a company that'll rival coke and pepsi".

Fucking moronic to the nth degree.

Instagram, Snapchat, Onlyfans, TikTok. There are quite a lot of fairly young social platforms, but I see your point. The good thing is Trump has a brand, but it'll still be very hard to challenge the monopolies. The only way of doing it is to tax big companies more and revoke their privileges to level the playing field.

Facebook is loaded (bloatware) onto every p.c. /android/ apple product. Every single one.

This is why they are so "popular" its that they'd been shoved down the throats of anyone who wanted to get online.

Being one of the first to be used cross products /platforms /apps and allowing you to log in by using your log in feature there , is the basis for how it spread so fast ...so quickly.

In order for any platform , they'd at the bare minimum need to do what Facebook did.

** edit ** Instagram is a Facebook side hustle. Its not a different company. It's easy for them when they have the weight and power of Facebook swinging around and helping launch it.

Yeah, but Instagram was bought by kosherbook, but I agree with the rest. This is why repubs failed by not addressing the obvious bit-tech monopoly.
