I think he's done already. I only see this as a way to mar his presidency further. The phony impeachment wasn't enough. They want to say he was removed from office and make sure if he tries to run again they can hold something over him. Or it - like most things in modern politics - is a big publicity stunt. That and it is a way for them to allow those across the aisle to distance themselves at the expense of Trump. I doubt it will go anywhere because Trump would probably cut a backroom deal before then to avoid the blemish since he has no chance of being re-elected in the future and he knows it. By the time 2023 rolls around, the RNC wont even let him on the ticket and he would have to run 3rd party which the system is rigged against.
