Pence might just be playing it safe. They're probably waiting for the due process on this issue which is the safe way. I'm not saying he isn't compromised, but I can't say he is either. They have plenty of evidence and are probably waiting for the 6th. If he tries to do something now it might look like an attack on democracy.
