Whether it takes a year or 10 years or 100 years for the wheel of history to turn, the Republicans who chose “stability” over democracy will not be remembered kindly, if they are remembered at all.

To be fair they are only second in line

Shitlibs will get savagely destroyed, it's not going to end well for them

They have enabled and organized and supported and actively participated in the biggest electoral fraud in US history in order to steal the presidency, which is beyond forgivable already. This only leaves room for civil war on the not so long run essentially. I mean, a fair election, is precisely the mechanism put in place to prevent a civil war, and they destroyed it, willingly. That's called treason, it's tantamount to a coup

Also, they've become some sort of a cult bordering on existential threat now. The collective suicide of america is their idea of a path forward to some sort of redemption toward brownies for america. I mean, I think there isn't 36 ways to put it; it's the party cult of batshit insane. Bane and the joker would replace schumer and pelosi it wouldn't make a world of a difference at this point

For these reasons, they are going to represent an existential threat for the other side, and they already are, they have crossed the rubicon with biden and his pyrus victory, needless to mention all the riots preceding the election. It's a barely veiled coup, they've jumped the shark, they went too far

This isn't going to end well for them, it's not going to be a matter of "living together" it already no longer is since they've cheated the election. It's a matter of "living" or "together", for the other side. They have rendered "living" and "together" incompatible at this point

So yeah, the repubs who didn't oppose any of this and even went as far as supporting it? They are going to be next, like all traitors in history

I took it as a given that the author sees the Democrats as a threat. This particular piece was about the Republicans who are acting against the interests of the people who elected them. Traitors, as you aptly noted. And yes - traitors go first.

https://dictionary.cambridge.org/dictionary/english/collaborator

>a person who works with an enemy who has taken control of their country:

>wartime collaborators

>a Nazi collaborator

Historically it's been nazis first, nazi collaborators second

Those republicans, they are working with the enemy

Once the enemy's been dealt with... Their turn comes, inevitably

It's the natural order of things, it's a matter of priority and opportunity

priority and opportunity

Good point!
