If that had been anyone else, it would be a tale of the American Dream - go from a bartender to a politician. I have to believe she was put in her position by higher powers and probably doesn't even realize she's the pawn here.
I kinda think her win was a fluke. She beat an entrenched incumbent who was so confident he'd win that he didn't even bother to campaign.
That could be too. I can't help but feel there was some push, no matter how gentle, from the side of the stage where it couldn't be seen.
Yeah, that could very well be the case.
