Do these people realize they were just pawns in the "Get Trump Out" game? Just like chess, when the game is won the pawns are probably already off the board.
Jamarl knows it. A handful of the protesters may have known it all the way through. Some will learn. Most probably don't really care.
The criminal class with Floyd know the game they're playing with the cops. They resent the cops, and they don't like where they are in life; but they know where they are. Gangsters and drug dealers know their profession spreads misery. They know they have a chance of being imprisoned or killed. When the spotlight shines on them and they're cast as a martyr or a rebel hero, they'll bask in that light and celebrate their hero of the hour; however depraved they may be.
Some will take any excuse to loot and steal. Some will use it as a pretext to promote their agenda. That's probably where the majority are at. They don't need a real reason to protest and virtue signal. They don't need to think anything through or hear all the facts. Blacks are responsible for far more violence against one another than Whites and White supremacists. Blacks perpetrate more violence against Whites than vice versa. But hey, if you publicly condemn Black on Black violence, you don't get called a hero. And God forbid you condemn Black on White violence. The role the media is going to reward is the one that draws out the crowds. Joining a huge crowd makes them feel like they're part of something great. The cause doesn't matter.
For the few who think there's something past the protest, that there's supposed to be some kind of change or accomplishment; they'll be disappointing.

That pretty much says it all right there.
