I'm not surprised. As more people begin to recognize the inevitability of either civil war (revolution) or pogroms, more people are going to try to avert it by voting.
I'm not surprised at all by the high voter turnout. Trump did very well, too. The reason I posted that link was that I thought the comments were funny. Like:
This hair-sniffing, 78-year-old white man – shady criminal family and dentures and nonsensical statements and all – managed to draw tens of people to each of his rallies, easily outpacing the tens of thousands of Trump supporters who waited 14+ hours to get into one of Trump's rallies.
Trump definitely has more fervent supporters, but democrats hate Trump just as fervently. They'd hold their nose and vote for Bush if it meant deposing Trump.
Agreed. Think about all of the people who voted for Hillary four years ago.
