I don't know if you can get more practical than a 410 revolver right now. That's a good choice.

It certainly has the required stopping power, but I'd like a modern firearm with more rounds. My only multi-round ones now are older, and while serviceable, are just getting sloppy and probably near retirement. edit: 9 rounds or so. The Judge has 5.

I'd probably get the 410 as a birthday gift to myself.

There's many good choices out there and if you've already got the ammo then you're leaps ahead of others trying to get there's. No matter what you end up with, it'll be good. End of the day though, slop and fit/finish don't matter if it shoots straight and true.
