I don't even believe that most people understand why we have the electoral college, they aren't educated enough about it to even have an opinion.

and so we come full circle to why only white, land owning males used to have the rights to make decisions. If a person can't survive on their wits and efforts enough to own some land and make something of themselves and their labours, they'll just fuck things up for everyone.
