I'm not sure what her plan is for after she loses the race. She didn't run for reelection to her House seat in order to dedicate her time to the Presidential run. I'd like to see Trump put her in his administration in a gesture of bipartisanship. That would have the added benefit of freaking out most of the regressive left.
He should be putting out tweet after tweet about the DNCs hypocrisy about diversity and women's rights to throw a wrench into their gears while promoting her. It'd be a brilliant move to turn a portion of their base against them. You're right, he'd be smart to snag her up after she drops.
If I were advising Trump it would be to wait until after they cancel debates officially then hammer the Dems for changing the criteria to exclude people they don't want.
Very good point. I doubt any of the above will happen though. Handlers are going to handle and that goes multiple ways.
