It is alarming the amount of support he does have. Even the Dems who are opposing him don't want to call him out on specifics as they want to claim they are supportive of his crazy programs. Tucker had a good guest on last night which talked about this.
Those rooms are mostly full of his supporters. We know there are a lot of Trump haters, but we don't see it at his rallies. Likely a fair comparison there.
The one thing that can be said for a Sanders presidency is that it would drive a stake through the heart of the idea that Socialism works. Yes, it would crush the country doing so but people would look back on it and be able to see what happens when you implement it.
Idk that the failures would be limpid. The bulk of his legislation would not make it past the Senate. It may take years for effects of executive agencies to be noticable. The Dems along with the media will continue to influence public opinion, trying to sway it against republicans. These are, after all, the people giving Obama credit for today's economy.
After the public failed to rise up against the failure of ObamaCare, I'm unsure of what rock bottom is for socialist ideas.
First of all, plus one for the use of limpid in the reply!
As far as the public's failure to rise up against ObamaCare, I'm with you. To me that's more evidence that the socialists have a chance of winning. (Albeit a small one.)
