They don't need a new party, they've hijacked the Dems. There will be a moderate establishment party form, if anything. Romney/Bloomberg/Buttigeg type thing.

Agreed. The Dem party is now probably where the Liberal party used to be, or further left. Any moderate Dems will likely have to gather elsewhere or face being sidelined by their own party.
