Not homogeneous enough. People have vastly different visions of America. Separation is inevitable, not gathering in the middle.

Blend the 2 parties together and become purple. Something about getting away from the traditional 2 party system..
I've suspected a "middle" party or independent would form to take Trump votes away from the Republican party in order to secure the Democrats a win while they use someone like Micheal Obama or Oprah as a last minute candidate.
Basically, divide and conquer but mostly directed at Republicans.
Are you advocating for this policy change or advancing the idea that it is already taking place?
