Booker comes off as a personable, affable guy but in real life (yes, I've met him a few times) is an arrogant prick. He only won the mayoral race in Newark because the guy he was replacing was looking at decades in the can for corruption. (Corruption that continued apace under Booker's administration.)
It tells you a lot about him that the current Newark Mayor isn't a Booker supporter.
