I did the same thing for a middle eastern professor of statistics way back when in the 90s when I was in my thirties. Besides being unable to understand him, he would not call on females and when I would interject, he was rude and disrespectful. I kept at it. I complained to the dean. I wanted to learn, not be berated and not just pass the class. He took a sabbatical mid way through the semester. I fear, in today's cultural climate, it would be me who would be removed from the class and university, not the foreigner. I don't know how to advise my daughter on what to do in this scenario.
> The professor could be a genius, but if he or she cannot communicate the material, what recourse is there?
What would hitler saul alinsky do?

The Rules
"Power is not only what you have but what the enemy thinks you have."
"Never go outside the expertise of your people."
"Whenever possible go outside the expertise of the enemy."
"Make the enemy live up to its own book of rules." <--- this
"Ridicule is man's most potent weapon."
"A good tactic is one your people enjoy."
"A tactic that drags on too long becomes a drag."
"Keep the pressure on."
"The threat is usually more terrifying than the thing itself."
"The major premise for tactics is the development of operations that will maintain a constant pressure upon the opposition."
"If you push a negative hard and deep enough it will break through into its counterside."
"The price of a successful attack is a constructive alternative."
"Pick the target, freeze it, personalize it, and polarize it."
I've worked in IT for 25+ years and have learned to understand Indian dialects pretty well. (You kinda have to.) Back then I had no fucking clue what this guy was saying.
I can usually tell whether you're from Pune, Mumbai (Bombey) or Bangalore too. Where the major call centers are located.
