It appears, as least to me, that constitutionally minded individuals seem to think that when push comes to shove, officers of the law will choose the constitution over the state. While this is comforting, I’m not buying it. They’re (officers of the law) already enforcing red flag laws. It doesn’t get any more blatantly unconstitutional than that. I hope I’m wrong.

I'm with you there. I think maybe - maybe - a few cops, soldiers, etc. will break ranks and refuse illegal orders but not at the level we'd need to prevent something major.
