An incredible waste of lives, time, and money. Did I say money yet? Failing US bridges could have been rebuilt. Interstate highways could have been reconstructed in the north with winter durable materials, instead of just resurfaced every five years. Taxes could have been lowered without the impending inflation that is coming due, because of M2 money supply being tripled in ten years to prop up banks and large corporations after the bubble burst in 2008.

It's one of the issues I agree with Rand Paul and Tulsi Gabbard on. Stop spending money (and sacrificing Americans) fighting wars overseas. That money can be better spent here in the States, and those troops better used here to defend the nation's borders.
