That should be exciting. I've read some about what scientists expect when\if that happens. I think I live far enough away to survive the initial blast here in Texas. But, I've read we will hear and feel it. Also the ash will cover the US 3 feet deep all the way to the Mississippi river.
It's one of the two major disaster scenarios I'm hoping will play out.
SMOD (Sweet Meteor of Destruction) is the other. The planet needs a good CTRL-ALT-DEL every now and then.
The meteor bothers me. I think I can survive the Yellowstone blast. Not sure about the meteor.
Not that I have anything against you personally, but I prefer the meteor scenario. A clean, fresh start for the planet.
