The officer was transported to University of Maryland Medical Center's Shock Trauma center. The suspect has also been shot. Their condition is currently unknown. Officers reported taking sniper fire from inside the building, according to Broadcastify audio obtained by WMAR. It is unclear if shots were fired in the synagogue.
