...but it won't because it will be like every other item that suddenly gets taxed. People will simply find something else to do, or not do anything at all.
Or those funds could make entry to citizens free, but we know that won’t happen. We own the parks but we have to pay to access them, ridiculous!

This would be great for places like Yellowstone which are having overcrowding issues.
Funny that Cuyahoga Valley National Park is on the list of most visited national parks. This has to be simply because it is in the middle of a sizable metro area. There isn't anything really worth traveling from any great distance to view.
