Seems like another concerted effort is afoot to establish in the public conscious that there's other good explanations for stroke and heart attacks beyond just cold showers. I also wonder if this may be an effort to reduce easy access to available erithrytol. I'm seeing these news stories popping up in quite a few places over the last couple of days.

It's somewhat reassuring that others have noticed the trend as well. Once you notice such it's hard not to question whether your objectivity is compromised.
