So I guess our military has been using hellfire missles to shoot down hobby balloons. Great... Nice to know the Biden Administration and our military is right on top of this "problem".

Considering their goal is to exhaust our war fighting capabilities, it's going precisely to plan.

Time to make the money printer go brrrrr for the Military Industrial Complex again. Hell we might even need a new air-to-air missile project to produce missiles that are better suited to shooting down balloons. These new modern missiles will be vital to our national security and will cost a mere $2.5 million shekels each. It's a small price to pay for (((national security))). We'll also give some of them to israel, our (((greatest ally))).

They shot two at one balloon. $400,000 each.

not to mention the fuel burned for this fiasco

unless they can remote detonate the hellfire, it would just fly through that flimsy little thing and keep going until it ran out of fuel.

proximity fuses and sharped charges my man.

understood, im ex-military..USMC....but im not at all familiar with this weapon system, or any missle unless they are fired by an infantryman.
