Pete Buttigieg as Secretary of Transportation should have been facilitating/coordinating the response to all of this, including Rail Exec discussions and [Pete or his representation at the town hall](https://www.thegatewaypundit.com/2023/02/pete-buttigieg-ohio-residents-erupt-town-hall-meeting-environmental-disaster-following-train-derailment-video/). They apparently want the disaster/distraction to continue until it is politically beneficial to step in.
