Another black eye for Alabama. And we all know there is something very wrong with this profession. It is hard to imagine that men given the authority of the sword choose to torture their captives in this century. The standards for hiring police nationally has been lowered to such an extent that in their ignorance the police are now more of a threat to citizens than criminals are. The tide is turning Nationwide as more people can see thru video recordings, the corruption, the thuggery and lack of humanity toward citizens; not to mention the ignorance of constitutional law. I don't want to loose our protectors, we much not defund, but raise the standards of the profession. Remove immunity and weed out those who do not have the morals and temperament to serve. If you create a false report, you're fired. If you abuse, you're fired. If you're violent, you're fired. There must be zero tolerance for corruption. That zero tolerance must begin with the mayor and police chief. NO MORE shaking down the citizens for profit, NO MORE city ordinances, NO MORE fishing for a reason to give a ticket. IT MUST STOP. THE PEOPLE ARE SICK OF TIRED OF THE THEFT. The tide is changing and it is against Law Enforcement of every kind.
