Biden actually gave Mil the go ahead to shoot it down Wednesday, we heard about it Thursfay, our Mil decided it would be best to drop it over water and waited until today.

Because they did not want to. Most likely it was a non-intended event like with other weather balloons that drift away. Happens sometimes. Usually gets addressed without theatrics before it becomes a threat to commercial airplanes. But this time, it is like an unexpected gift for the industrial military complex. They use the story to further form the narrative "China bad" for their next miserable war game. Military is already talking about a war with China in 2025.

And then sent F-22 to engage a target... potentially the sensors on balloon captured F-22 signals no one had prior. Should have sent F-15 with guns only.

Looks like the missile hit the electronics at the bottom of the balloon and they separated, the payload dropped like rock.

The voice has that S. Carolina drawl. His 2nd sentence sounds more like a white guy, the rest was too hard to tell.

It looked like the antenna array or something disconnected upon impact, you can see flickers of light below the balloon a few seconds after impact. The sun reflecting off flat shiny surfaces.
