This is why I don't have "smart" devices like speakers, door bells, vacuums and so on in my house. I'm constantly looking at my router's device list to make sure I don't see some unknown device.

It’s harder for people to imagine the dire consequences of their private conversations. Telling people that someone might be looking at pictures of them using the bathroom is immediately shocking and helps them see the danger in privacy violations.
