Seems to me that a "public" library violated his 1st and 14th Amendment rights. Refusing him with the excuse that they want "people of color".
I was a librarian for over a decade. I worked my way to the top and even got a masters so I could get any job I wanted. After turning down a directorship three times because I didn't like the mayor, selectman, or library board that interviewed me, I realized I was done. I went back to IT.
That was almost 20 years ago. It was horrible then, so I just can't imagine it now.
