Commiefornia will be the first to go. Trucking companies, in particular aren't going to last much longer, as they won't be able to make any money with their high overhead and high regulations. Not to mention diesel supply shortages. Next will be food producers as they don't have enough water or profit to survive. Retail will follow closely as consumers continue to stop buying unnecessary goods and focus on buying food and energy only. The service industry will die off as the demand wanes due to aforementioned shortages.
Other states will follow California's pattern too, because that's the plan.
And they're about to vote to limit all commercial truck's speed. Most likely to 65. For safety? Fuck no. The mega carriers (Swift, Werner, JB Hunt, Prime, Schneider, CR England, KLLM, Western Express, etc.) are pushing for it so they can push more owner operators/small fleets out of the market.
A lot of the regulations forced on us are pushed by mega carriers. Elogs, HOS, Dirty 30, etc were suggested and pushed by mega carriers to knock the owner operators down to their level.
It's already 55 all through CA
Under 30 days before it all runs dry....
