Possible cart-before-the-horse?

Perhaps they have developing schizophrenia, and are using marijuana to self-medicate.

I know a person who doesn't smoke pot (or do any drug, legal or illegal) but she imagines that over 1000 people are stalking her---people from Amazon, Facebook, her mother's neighbors, her daughter's ex-roommates (who she says are part of a crime cartel), and some "white hats" thrown in for good measure.

I also know a person who developed schizophrenia at about 27 years, who treated pot as "medicine".

I've smoked pot for many years, off and on (currently off), occasionally heavy usage, and I've never dealt with paranoid delusions. Just weight gain and some short-term memory loss.

Since pot has ALWAYS existed, it makes me wonder how many psychotics are now willing to admit it was pot, considering it's "legal"; and how many got the "LSD Elephant" treatment... and found themselves a ward of the state.

I bet a lot of these are people who have tried the edibles.

I don't know how many people here have been in a modern dispensary or tried some of the high potency stuff they sell but it can be insanely strong.
I got a 'super joint' one time as a gift, ultra high THC, laced with resin and covered in pure THC crystals. I made it about halfway through it before it actually gave me an anxiety attack, and I've had pot casually for a long time.
My advice with weed is to go slow, it shouldn't take a lot for a decent effect. Chronic use affects you in ways you don't notice, basically being stoned all the time without feeling it.

Hypothesis: drugs don't cause these. Criminals with microwave weapons wait for people to take drugs and then start messing with them so the victims' testimony is made not credible by the drug association. Genetic relation is also inexistent, the criminals just target people who are related because they are already familiar with relatives.

Modern weed is too potent. If i smoke, i prefer regular weed as opposed to anything considered good.
