It's to build him up to the public. More and more people are becoming aware of his explicit support for (((open borders))), (((communism))), and (((UBI))) among other things. I wouldn't say "destroyed" as much as "weekend." (And you forgot the Dindu Hindu.) Those four has at least slightly plausible cases to argue. Musk does not.
