Yes, it's a CNN link and yes, this is big news for the USA. Even if the vote fails they will keep pressing to outlaw gasoline vehicles until they do. California has already outlawed small gas engines under 25hp by 2024....

once people realise they cant afford heat or food without oil these policies will fail fast, shits going to hit the fan probably around january
