Once a year is about how frequently I patronize that establishment. I can make it zero. My main issue is maintaining a local supplier of real unpoisoned food. Unfortunately from a biblical standpoint eating bugs isn't out of the question, sure the Old Testament says not to eat things that swarm but then Jesus came and said it's not what goes into your mouth that defiles you but what comes out of it nullifying restrictions, short of eating the ritual sacrifices of other religions (I'm looking at all those kosher labels on everything) in my opinion. More to the point John the Baptist ate locust so from a religious standpoint I don't have a leg to stand on rejecting locusts.
I've found DQ to have the most delicious burgers in my area; Tasty, real hamburger texture with flame broiled overtones compared to McD's, BK and Wendy's patties. Freshest lettuce, tomatoes and onion if you opt for the deluxe versions. In addition, they offer a 10% discount for Seniors 60 and over - but you have to ask for it. A #6 Deluxe (3 patties totaling 1/2lb, American cheese, pickles, lettuce, thick onion slices, thick tomato slice, Mayo) is $6.02 including my state's 8.5% fast food tax and DQ's 10% senior discount. Great taste, healthier than others and a meal in itself. You can tell I've bought a few ...
No bugs for me.
